My name is Kiara Sanders and I am a Student Visionary for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.  I am passionate about this cause because I was diagnosed with cancer, an inoperable tumor in my spinal cord when I was 8 years old. While this was and has been a difficult diagnosis, organizations and nonprofits have always been a big help and one of my biggest inspirations throughout my journey. I understand the struggle and strain that comes with having cancer on a personal level, and I want to create a world where that doesn’t exist; and more importantly, YOU can help!
